GTP is a data & process-heavy corporate tax preparation system for EY’s 80k+ employees serving Fortune 500 clients across the globe.

sFTP is one of the primary ways staff upload client data. Tracking incoming files and failures is painful. The lack of transparency also creates stress for support engineers.

The challenge is to research and design an MVP feature to monitor  transfer status, and to help users investigate failures so that they can be more confident about their files.

We are heavy users of SFTP in GTP on big accounts like IBM, Medtronic, Xerox etc...We had lot of connect with the product team from day 1 almost and they have been super responsive. There were sessions where we were heard, feedbacks were taken and the team here has now done an exceptional job and brought in the much needed status dashboard basis our ask. This is going to help us immensely on all our accounts.
